Paulette LeBlanc
Paulette LeBlanc has been a passionate writer for as long as she can remember, channeling her emotions and experiences into various creative outlets. From a young age, she expressed herself through poetry, short stories, comedy sketches, and plays, always craving the chance to move her audience. Her writing journey has been fueled by an unstoppable determination to prove that nothing is impossible, even when others doubt her.
Originally from Los Angeles, Paulette’s life took a major turn when her family relocated to the Bronx during her senior year of high school. Through her work, Paulette aims to connect with readers of all ages, hoping that her characters will be loved and appreciated just as much as they mean to her. Her dedication to storytelling continues to inspire her journey as an author.

The Artist
Dmitriy Morozov
Dmitry Morozov, a talented Ukrainian artist from Dnipro, brings a unique depth of passion and resilience to his work. Known for his captivating illustrations in the children’s book series Toofer & The Giblet, Morozov’s creativity shines through despite the extraordinary circumstances he faces daily. Currently living and working in war-torn Ukraine, Morozov navigates life amid the ongoing conflict while continuing to pursue his artistic calling.
Describing the current situation in Dnipro as “interesting times,” Morozov speaks candidly about how the war has clarified much about life, friendship, and survival. Morozov finds solace in his city’s resilience, noting that the mayor and local leaders are doing everything they can to protect their people. However, he acknowledges the unpredictability of the situation.
Morozov is deeply proud of the efforts made by his fellow Ukrainians, particularly the volunteers who have stepped up to help. Like many, Morozov contributes in his own way, continuing his artistic work to support his community and maintain some semblance of normalcy amid the chaos.
Despite the fear and uncertainty surrounding him, Dmitry’s artwork remains a source of strength and focus. He draws inspiration from the bravery of the Ukrainian people and finds peace in his ability to create. Through his illustrations, he hopes to capture the beauty of life, even in the darkest of times.
“What I enjoy the most is being surrounded by children, friends, cats, and dogs. Toofer & The Giblet have been added to the list now. I’ve fallen in love with them. Amazing book!”
